Find a warm way into target accounts

Buyers trust sellers who come recommended. Before you add an account to a cold sequence, check whether someone you know already works there or knows the buyer.

Try it on your network
Ask things like
  • “Do I know anyone at companies on my target account list?”
  • “Who can intro me to the VP RevOps at Cloudstride?”
  • “Which customers’ champions just changed jobs?”

How it works
  1. Paste your account list or ask about one company.
  2. See who you know there, or who can intro you, ranked by strength.
  3. Lead with the mutual connection instead of a cold email.

worked example

Fifty target accounts, checked before the sequence starts

Jordan, an account executive, has 50 target accounts for the quarter and a cold sequence ready to go.

  1. Jordan uploads the account list. Sniff finds a 1st-degree connection at 6 accounts and a 2nd-degree path into 11 more.
  2. At Cloudstride, Morgan Hill (VP RevOps) is a direct connection since 2021. Jordan writes to Morgan personally, referencing their shared history, instead of starting the sequence.
  3. At OrbitLane, two mutual connections know the Head of Sales. Jordan asks the closer of the two for an intro with a short note they can forward.
  4. The 33 accounts with no path go into the cold sequence as planned.

Result: A third of the list starts with a warm first touch instead of a cold one.

Do warm intros really beat cold outreach in sales?

Buyers say so. In a RAIN Group survey of 488 B2B buyers, 61% said a pre-existing relationship and 57% said a referral from inside their company make them more likely to connect with a seller. Cold outreach still has a place for accounts where no path exists.

Can I check a whole account list at once?

Yes. On Pro you can upload a CSV of leads and see who in your network, or your team’s, can get you to each one.

Does Sniff send messages or run sequences?

No. Sniff finds who can help and why. You write and send every message yourself, so it fits alongside whatever sequencing tool you already use.

Can it include my teammates’ networks?

Yes, with a Pro team. One search checks every teammate’s connections and names the teammate with the strongest line into each account.

Your network already did the work. Time to use it.
